I am a full time working, tax paying father of three, and just had a Deputy Scholtz stop here at 12:20am ringing the doorbell, waking everybody up, and dining a flashlight through my door to lecture me about leaving my garage door open while I stood out there in my boxers (its +/- 40° right now). No crude being committed, no suspicious persons call, just him waking my family up. In taking this to the RRT. It shouldn't be legal, and it took everything in me nut to cuss him out.
Responsive and respect to our local community
Extremely helpful, this department cares about the community. Contrary to the other poster who is upset the officers woke him to close his garage door, my family was saved by an officer doing this for us when we left our lights on a vehicle parked outside. I was awakened to find what would have been a catastrophic gas leak. Waking me saved my family from imminent death. The fact an officer takes time to help the community is proof of their concern, and ability to go above and beyond the call of duty.
